Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 1, 2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to Fit View AI ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and retain your personal information when you use the Fit View AI mobile application (the "App"). By using the App you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Photos and/or videos, including face data — media you submit for analysis, including photos. These images normally show your face; see Section 3, Face Data, for our full face data collection, use, sharing, retention, and deletion practices.
  • Preferences — the goals and options you select within the App.
  • Anonymous device identifier — a randomly generated identifier used to associate your results with your device without collecting your name or email.
  • Usage data — app interactions and session information collected through Firebase Analytics to help us improve the App.

3. Face Data

Fit View AI analyzes photographs of you in order to visualize fitness progress. Although we analyze your body rather than your face, the photographs you submit will normally show your face. We treat any facial imagery contained in the photos and videos you submit as face data. This section is our complete statement of how we collect face data, every purpose we use it for, everyone we disclose it to, how long we keep it, and how you can delete it or withdraw your consent.

3.1 What face data we collect, and how

  • What we collect: still photographs that you capture in the App. These images contain your face and may contain other identifiable imagery, such as your surroundings. We also store the written description of your visible appearance that our AI provider produces from those images and the preview images the App generates from them.
  • How we collect it: only through the App's own camera, and only when you take the picture. Nothing is captured while the App is in the background, and nothing leaves your device until you submit it. Before your first submission the App tells you that your photo will be sent to our AI provider for analysis and asks you to agree; iOS separately requires you to grant camera permission.
  • What we do not collect: we do not create, derive, or store a faceprint, face template, face mesh, face geometry, or any other biometric identifier from your face. We do not use Apple's ARKit face tracking or TrueDepth face-mapping APIs, and we run no facial-recognition software. Fit View AI has no capability to recognize, match, or identify a person from a photograph, and we never attempt to.

3.2 All intended uses of your face data

We use your face data for the following purposes, and for no others:

  • To analyze your photographs and produce the personalized visualizations and guidance shown in the App.
  • To generate the AI preview images the App shows you.
  • To store your results on our servers so that you can return to them in the App.
  • To answer a support request that you send us, and only so far as answering it requires.
  • To investigate abuse of the service, or to comply with a legal obligation.

We do not use your face data to identify or authenticate you, for facial recognition or biometric matching, for advertising, marketing, or profiling, or to train or fine-tune any artificial-intelligence model, whether ours or anyone else's. We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise monetize your face data, and we never will.

3.3 All disclosures of your face data — who receives it

Your face data is disclosed to exactly two service providers, each acting on our instructions and on our behalf:

  • Amazon Web Services, Inc. — stores your images in a private, access-controlled Amazon S3 bucket in the US East region so that the App can show you your results. AWS provides storage and transport only; it does not analyze your images.
  • OpenAI, L.L.C. — receives your images through the OpenAI API in order to produce the analysis and the preview images. Under OpenAI's API data usage policy, data submitted through the API is not used to train OpenAI's models, and is retained for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring before being deleted. See openai.com/policies/api-data-usage-policies.

Third-party protection commitment. Any third party with whom we share face data is contractually required to provide the same or equal protection for that face data as is stated in this Privacy Policy: to use it only to perform the service we have engaged them to perform, to protect it with at least equivalent security measures, and not to retain, disclose, sell, or use it for any other purpose.

We disclose face data to no one else. Our analytics provider, Google Firebase Analytics, never receives your photos, videos, or any other face data — it receives only anonymous app-usage events. We do not share face data with advertisers, data brokers, social networks, employers, or insurers. We would disclose face data to a law-enforcement or government body only if compelled by valid legal process.

3.4 Face data sharing and retention

  • On your device: photos and results you have saved remain on your device until you delete them in the App or delete the App itself.
  • On our servers: we retain your face data for as long as you keep using the App, so that your saved results stay available to you. We do not keep it for any other reason, and we delete it whenever you ask us to — see 3.5 below. It is held in a private Amazon S3 bucket that blocks all public access, and is transmitted only over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).
  • At OpenAI: retained for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring and then deleted, and never used to train models, under the policy linked in 3.3.
  • Your face data is stored in the United States. We do not include it in any dataset that is shared, published, or sold.

3.5 How to delete your face data, and how to withdraw your consent

  • Delete the copies on your device: delete an individual result inside the App, or delete the App, and the copies held on your device are erased.
  • Delete the copies on our servers: email us at contact@fitness.ᔐ.com with the subject line “Delete my face data”. We will erase every photo, video, AI-generated image, and derived description associated with you, within 30 days of the request and normally much sooner, and we will email you to confirm once it is done. There is no charge and you need not give a reason. The App has no user account, so we identify your data by the anonymous identifier your device sends with each request; if you tell us roughly when you used the App, we will locate and delete your records from that.
  • Withdraw your consent: you may withdraw your consent to our collection and use of face data at any time — by turning off the App's camera permission in iOS Settings, by simply not submitting further photos, or by deleting the App. Withdrawing consent stops all further collection immediately. It does not by itself erase what we already hold; to erase that, send the deletion request above, which we will honor whether or not you still have the App installed.

4. How We Use Your Information

  • To analyze your submitted photos and/or videos and generate personalized recommendations.
  • To generate a preview image using OpenAI's image generation API.
  • To store your results so you can revisit them within the App.
  • To improve the App through aggregated, anonymized usage analytics.
  • To respond to your support requests.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your photos, videos, or results for advertising.

5. Third-Party Services

The App shares data with the following third-party services:

  • OpenAI, L.L.C. — receives your photos and/or videos and preferences for AI analysis. OpenAI's privacy policy: openai.com/privacy.
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) — provides cloud storage (S3) and identity services (Cognito) for securely transferring your photos and videos to our backend.
  • Google Firebase Analytics — collects anonymized App usage data. Firebase's privacy policy: firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

Each of these providers is contractually obligated to protect your data and to use it only for the purposes for which it was shared. Where the data shared is face data, each such third party is required to provide the same or equal protection for it as is stated in this Privacy Policy.

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS) and access controls on our cloud infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights and Choices

  • Consent: You must explicitly consent to data sharing before submitting any photos or videos. You may withdraw that consent at any time — see Section 3.5 for exactly how, and for what withdrawing consent does and does not erase.
  • Access and deletion: You may request access to, or deletion of, your personal data — including all face data — by emailing contact@fitness.ᔐ.com. We complete deletion requests within 30 days and confirm by email. See Section 3.5.
  • Camera access: You may revoke camera access at any time through your device Settings. Revoking access will prevent the App from functioning.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

10. Contact Us

If you have any questions, concerns, or data requests regarding this Privacy Policy, please contact us at contact@fitness.ᔐ.com.
